Arbor Place Mall: A Busy Douglas County Venue This Holiday Season

The story of Arbor Place Mall, perhaps one of the busiest venues in Douglas County this time of year, may be familiar to you if you have lived in the Douglasville area for several years.  The mall, located on Douglas Boulevard (Douglas Blvd.), opened in October of 1999 as the only mall directly serving the west side of metro Atlanta, including suburbs such as Douglasville, Carrollton, Villa Rica, Austell, Hiram, and Lithia Springs.   
Containing stores on two levels, the Douglas County mall has been successful in providing a shopping area of numerous, nicer stores for local residents who previously had to travel to other cities for the same conveniences.  Built and owned by CBL & Associates, Douglasville's Arbor Place Mall also hosts various events throughout the year, including the annual arrival of Santa Claus near the end of the year for visits and photos with children!  Santa's hours as well as store operating hours for the Christmas season are available at the mall's website, www.arborplace.com.
