At least three of five young teenagers who attempted to flee from police in Atlanta were injured in a crash following the chase, according to Gary Franklin of the 11 Alive website. Franklin reports that all of the teens were under the age of 16 and were traveling in a stolen mini-van. When a police officer from Atlanta flashed his blue light and began to pursue the five teenagers, the ensuing chase resulted in the van's colliding with a fence surrounding a power transformer station. Though some reports have not been confirmed, one teen was said to be unconscious and not breathing following the car crash, while two others were allegedly taken to Grady Hospital for treatment. Police are still investigating the incident.
