Today, an Atlanta police officer was involved in an auto accident in Atlanta, Georgia. According to the police officers on the scene, the accident happened on Langford Parkway near Sylvan Road early this morning. The Atlanta police officer was on the job investigating a previous accident when he was rear-ended. The officer was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital and the injuries are unknown at this time.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, ice may have contributed to this accident. This accident is still being investigated.
