
According to Steve Kuzj of NBC Augusta online, a woman from Colbert, Georgia, died Sunday (September 21) in a car accident on Bobby Jones Expressway in Augusta, Georgia. A Richmond County coroner stated that Candy Michelle Butler died after losing control of her SUV shortly before 3:00p.m. According to the coroner, Butler was driving over 90 miles per hour while traveling west on the road, and her vehicle flipped multiple times before stopping in the middle of the expressway’s eastbound lanes and shutting down the roadway. At the time of NBC’s report, a passenger from Butler’s vehicle was undergoing surgery.
