Atlanta Police Officer, Andrew Fincher, was injured in an on the job auto accident. Officer Fincher sustained a spinal injury which lead to surgical intervention. While Fincher had been limited in mobility he is now preparing to return to the force. According to WGCL Atlanta, Fincher never thought of leaving the police department noting, for him failure is not an option and he will continue fighting.

Officer Fincher’s colleagues plan on helping him to make that return. They have arranged a fundraiser to help him. Fincher is to follow up with his surgeon in a few weeks and will know at that time when or if he is indeed able to return to the force.
