An auto accident involving a tour bus driven by a Georgia resident resulted in fatality for a couple from Florida Monday evening, according to Karen Voyles of the Gainesville.com website. Anthony Sommo, 54, and 51-year-old Rhonda Sommo died at the scene after their small car reportedly attempted a left turn in front of the bus. The driver of the tour bus, Meigs, Georgia, resident Amos V. Miller, 65, swerved in an attempt to avoid colliding with the car, but Anthony Sommo appeared to over-correct and drove into the bus' path. The car and tour bus were headed in opposite directions before the crash on U.S. 129, and the site reports that the Sommos were not wearing seatbelts. The cause of the car accident is still being investigated.
