Chain-Reaction Crash Kills 2, Injures 6 on I-75 in Atlanta

July 8, 2008 - Around 4:30 Sunday morning (July 6), a three-car pile-up caused by a stalled car on I-75 near Cleveland Avenue in Atlanta turned tragic. According to reports, another vehicle hit the stalled car from behind, which pushed the stalled car onto the shoulder of the interstate. The second vehicle stopped in one of the lanes, and its three passengers stepped out of the car. When a third vehicle came upon the accident, it struck two of the three passengers and killed them. Six other people were injured, and one of them is in critical condition. No alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident.
