Charges possible in a fatal tractor trailer accident.

November 8, 2007 - The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate a crash on Interstate 20 on Friday.  The accident claimed the life of a Villa Rica woman, Kasey McGinnis. Ms. McGinnis was a passenger in a Chevrolet Trailblazer.  She died of injuries she received in the 9:00 p.m. crash on Interstate 20 near the Post Road exit.  Travis McGinnis, her husband, was critically injured and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he remains hospitalized.  The accident resulted from a westbound auto carrier tractor trailer losing a ramp in the roadway that fell off back and came to rest.  The driver of the tractor trailer was stopped in Alabama, and this case is still being investigated, and charges are possible against the tractor trailer driver.
