In Cherokee County, Georgia, an auto accident occurred when a vehicle crashed into another vehicle head-on. According to the Cherokee County Sheriffs Deputies, Nickolas Miller, twenty two years of age and an Acworth, Georgia resident, was arrested for crashing his vehicle into another vehicle head-on. The victim of this car accident, a Cherokee County school teacher, Deborah Walton, fifty six years of age, received severe injuries.
Mr. Miller was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, serious injury by motor vehicle, disobeying a traffic control device, reckless driving and theft of a motor vehicle. Mr. Miller was transported to a nearby hospital for broken bones. Ms. Walton was also transported to the hospital and still remains under hospital care from injuries sustained in the accident.
