According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Bartow County school bus was involved in an accident on Cass-White Road near its intersection with Cassville Road. There were children on the bus at the time of the accident which were complaining of injuries. The children received medical treatment at the scene of the accident then transported by another bus to their destination. It was reported that a Toyota Camry Solara sideswiped the bus which came to rest in a ditch. The Solara lost its front left tire and came to a rest in a nearby lawn. Witnesses at the scene of the accident stated the woman driving the vehicle lost control of her brakes after the accident and could not stop.
