"Click it or Ticket” in Georgia | Douglasville Car Accident Attorney

On May 24, 2010, the Georgia State Police agencies began their annual “Click it or Ticket” campaign to monitor the roads day and night through June 6. The charge for a first offender not wearing a seat belt is $15.00. The driver will also be fined $25.00 if a passenger from 6 to 17 years of age is not wearing a seat belt.

According to police officials, seat belts saved 521 lives in Georgia auto accidents last year.
