Cpl. Mick Davis with Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Dies After Dallas Area Car Accident

Corporal Mick Davis, 49, of the Paulding County sheriff's office, was killed after a car accident that occurred at approximately 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, near Dallas, Georgia. According to the CBS News website, Cpl. Davis was off duty when the crash occurred and died during surgery after sustaining injuries in the wreck. After retiring from 20 years of service with the Marines, Cpl. Mick Davis joined the Paulding County sheriff’s office in 2002 and was promoted to corporal in 2008.
