Cumming Volunteer Killed in Coweta County Accident

Coweta County experienced fatality Sunday evening, January 11, when Cumming resident Christine (Christy) Moore, 32, was involved in a two car accident, according to the North Fulton website.  The site reports that Moore was killed when the vehicle in which she was riding veered out of control and crossed the median, causing the car to crash into an airport shuttle van. Driver Brandon Mailman, 22, of Columbus, Georgia, died at the scene along with Moore.  According to the website, Moore volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America, Keep Forsyth County Beautiful, and Hands on Forsyth, among other organizations.  She was a single mother of children Sean, 9, and Molly, 7.
