The westbound lanes of Atlanta’s I-285 in DeKalb County closed early this morning (Friday, September 26) after a chain-reaction accident that began when a woman crashed her vehicle into the interstate’s median wall and sustained injuries. According to the CBS 46 website, the initial Atlanta crash occurred at approximately 3:30a.m. A pickup truck then slammed into a police cruiser while police were investigating the accident, resulting in a multi-vehicle wreck in which two or more tractor-trailers and several cars collided.
Our law firm handles truck accident and car accident cases involving multiple vehicles similar to this multi-vehicle wreck. I have represented many clients who were involved in chain-reaction accidents that occurred after a first wreck, and they have been awarded substantial compensation.
