Dekalb County, Georgia Resident Involved in Single-Vehicle Fatal Car Accident

Near Thomson, Georgia, a resident of Lithonia, Georgia was killed from a single-vehicle car accident. According to the Georgia State Patrol officers on the scene, Cordele Gresham, twenty two years of age, had lost control of his vehicle in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 when his vehicle ran off the roadway and crashed into a tree. Mr. Gresham’s vehicle then overturned several times and forced him out of the vehicle. Mr. Gresham was being transported to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital for treatment of his severe injuries, until he was pronounced dead from the blunt force trauma.
