Dekalb Police Officer Injured in Car Accident While Pursuing Atlanta Citgo Robbery Suspects
An Atlanta police officer was transported by ambulance from Dekalb to Grady Memorial Hospital Wednesday afternoon for injuries he sustained in a one-car accident while pursing robbery suspects. According to officials, the officer was responding to a call regarding an armed robbery by three suspects at the Citgo on Moreland Avenue and I-285. On the way to the Citgo station, the officer hit a utility pole and suffered injuries.
