Douglasville traffic Blog.

June 18, 2007 - Welcome to my blog.  I am a personal injury and worker’s compensation lawyer located in Douglasville, Georgia. About ten years ago when I first moved to Douglasville, things were very different from the way they are today. Douglasville, located in Douglas County, was considered a relatively unknown small town just west of Atlanta. The population of the whole county ,at the time, was about eighty-thousand.

I can recall it took several years for the approval of the building of the Arbor Place Mall. However, once the mall was completed in October of 1999, it seemed as if we experienced a population explosion. Today the county’s population exceeds one-hundred and twenty-thousand and continues to grow.

For years I have represented people in serious car accidents, truck accidents and workers compensation cases. Many of these people suffer serious injuries with broken bones, herniated discs and other serious injuries such as whiplash.

With this growing population, traffic congestion and dangerous road conditions have become a major problem. As a personal injury attorney I am seeing more people hurt in automobile accidents. I have watched the news about traffic accidents, changing road conditions, and road improvements which are in the headlines every week. As a result, I decided to start this blog to present up-to-date information about local traffic in Douglasville and the surrounding communities in: Carroll, Haralson, and Paulding counties. I hope that the information is helpful to local residents and can present a history of traffic changes we experience in Douglasville, Georgia.
