Driver Killed After Traveling 120mph and Crashing Into Support Beam on GA 400 Bridge in Roswell

A speeding driver around Holcomb Bridge Road and Georgia 400 was killed in an accident this afternoon in Roswell, Georgia, according to the WSBTV website.  The site reports that the vehicle was traveling over 120 mph when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a bridge support beam on the highway.  A police officer from Alpharetta noticed the SUV shortly after 2:00p.m. and then respotted it after the crash. According to police, the driver may have attempted to pass the right side of the vehicle of a woman who was going the speed limit when the driver lost control of his SUV, struck the guard rail, flipped his vehicle, and crashed into the beam.  The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
