DUI Charges for Bremen Principal | West Georgia Auto Accident Attorney

On Saturday, August 29, 2009 at approximately 5:45 p.m. Bremen Police Department received a phone call from a concerned citizen to be on the look out for a reckless driver. Shortly following the call Bremen Police noticed the Silver Camry driven by April Garner, Principal at Bremen Fourth and Fifth Grade Academy and began following her. The vehicle pulled into the Hightower Funeral Home parking lot and attempted to back out again. Unfortunately the police car had pulled in behind her and she struck the officer’s car. According to police a blood alcohol test was conducted on Ms. Garner and she was cited for DUI and taken to the Haralson County Jail in Buchanan. Ms. Garner has made a request for extended family medical leave time and Ms. Krista Smith the current principal of Bremen Middle School will be acting principal for the Fourth and Fifth Grade Academy.
