Failure to Wear Seatbelt Turns Fatal in Alcohol-Related Atlanta Accident
June 25, 2008 - Decatur County resident Kelly Robert Brown, 27, died at 3:02 a.m. Sunday, June 8, after sustaining injuries in a one-car accident that occurred less than two hours earlier. According to police, the victim was ejected from his vehicle when it rolled over on Hutchison Ferry Road and River Road. The metro Atlanta driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was under the influence of alcohol, reports the Georgia State Patrol.
