
A Saturday evening accident in Moultrie, Georgia, killed a volunteer firefighter from Colquitt County, according to The Moultrie Observer online. The two-car accident occurred on Highway 319 North near Sumner Road when Norman Park resident Joe Harry Ball, 34, lost control of his Ford Contour while traveling southbound and veered into the path of a northbound Cadillac Escalade. Ball was killed in the crash, and four other people sustained injuries due to the accident. According to the article, Ball worked with the Northside Volunteer Fire Department.
