Ford Motor Company Sponsors Programs to Help Teen Car Accidents

The Ford Motor Company has been conducting driving clinics for teen drivers to educate on driving and to prevent car accidents. Since many schools are unable to have a driver's ed class because of funding cuts, these clinics can be invaluable to teens.

In the state of Georgia, teens can benefit from driving programs that Ford Motor Company offers in collaboration with the Governor's Highway Safety Association. The program includes a day of driving safety, including a three-course driver program called the Ford Driving Skills for Life Program. This program shows the effects of driving under the influence or with a distracted driver through the use of simulators and goggles. Also, teen drivers are taught how to drive in different weather conditions. The program helps to teach real-life driving skills to teenagers.
