Four Injured in Moultrie Area Car Accident

Four people sustained injuries in a Moultrie area car accident  involving two vehicles on Highway 33 South Monday evening, December 1, according to The Moultire Observer online.  One of the injured victims was in stable condition at Colquitt Regional Medical Center as of Tuesday afternoon. The other driver was also treated for injuries sustained in the crash but was released from treatment on Monday, and the conditions of the two other injured parties were unknown at the time of the report. One driver had to be extracted from his truck by the Moultrie Fire Department, and the truck burst into flames after the crash. The fire was quickly extinguished before the fire department arrived.  The Georgia State Patrol was still investigating the crash at the time of the report.
