Gainesville Accident Closes I-85 South for Six Hours, Leaves One Dead
According to Claire Miller of the Gainesville Times website, a car accident closed all lanes of I-85 South this morning (Thursday, September 18) for nearly six hours following the death of one of the accident victims. In the accident, 55-year-old Paul Gwynn of Baldwin, Georgia, was ejected from his vehicle and killed when his vehicle and another car collided on I-85 South in Gainesville near exit 149. The wreck occurred around 6:00a.m., and investigators are still determining the cause of the crash.
