Gainesville Woman Injured in Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident in Stable Condition

A Gainesville woman sustained injuries after being run over by a vehicle on Brown Street Monday evening, according to the Gainesville Times website.  The Georgia State Patrol reported that the accident occurred just off Old Athens Highway on Brown Street around 9:35 p.m. when a Honda Civic ran over the midsection of 43-year-old Betty Weston.  As of Tuesday, pedestrian Weston was in stable condition at the intensive car unit of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
