Georgia Tech Student Injured in Bicycle Accident When Struck by Garbage Truck

A graduate student in the MBA program at Georgia Tech is in serious condition at Atlanta Medical Center after being struck on her bicycle by a garbage truck this morning (Thursday, August 28). According to www.11alive.com, Ludivine Ventura, 23, was traveling on her bicycle on Spring Street near 10^th Avenue when the accident occurred. Atlanta Police are investigating the crash.
