Grandmother and Granddaughter Involved in a Fatal Car Accident

On Monday, January 25, 2010, a grandmother and her granddaughter were involved in a fatal car accident. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident occurred on south Georgia Highway. Helen Dick, 69 years of age, was stopped at a stop sign on State Road 310 and pulled out onto U.S. Highway 84 in front of a commercial truck. The truck crashed into the side of Ms. Dick’s vehicle. Both Ms. Dick and her granddaughter passed away from injuries received in the accident. The driver of the commercial truck was injured as a result of the accident.
