Friday, December 5, a Grayson, Georgia, car accident claimed the life of a 2008 Grayson High School graduate and athlete, according to Rick Badie of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution online. The article refers to well-loved teen Tyler Drew Durden, 19, as a "rescuer," a word used by Durden’s father when describing his son who always helped friends in need. According to Badie, the teen died after a car accident on Oak Grove Road in Grayson. In high school, he played on the hockey and wrestling teams, and he was currently a pre-law major at Georgia Gwinnett College who was considering attending law school at the University of Georgia.
