Gwinnett High School Students Injured in Tour Bus Accident on I-75

According to the Georgia State Patrol, a Harmon Brothers Tour bus was carrying forty-seven high school students from Mill Creek High School were involved in an accident on I-75. One person was airlifted to Medical Center of Central Georgia and nineteen other students were taken to local hospitals near Dooly County. The bus was carrying fifty-two people total.

The accident happened when traffic slowed down and an accident occurred ahead of the bus. One of the vehicles from that accident was pushed into the path of the bus. The bus driver swerved, and the bus went up an embankment and struck an overpass on I-75. The students that were not transported to the hospital were taken to the Dooly County Sheriff's Office to await another bus for pickup.
