According to the AJC, two people were in serious condition after a vehicle struck a trailer carrying a church group on a hayride in Douglas, Georgia. The accident injured 27 people. The pastor of the church group stated the hayride accident happened on October 15, 2010, when a vehicle hit a trailer while being pulled slowly along Route 64.

The impact of the accident resulted in one person being tossed into the roadway and another person suffering a broken leg and required immediate surgery.
