
Interstate 85 in Newnan, Georgia, experienced extreme delays Tuesday morning (September 30) when a tractor-trailer overturned in a construction zone, according to the Times-Herald. Georgia State Patrol officials stated that the accident resulted in all northbound lanes of I-85 being shut down. Trooper David Griffis reported that the accident occurred at approximately 6:50a.m. when 39-year-old Juan Rosado of Dacula, Georgia, drove his tractor-trailer off the interstate and hit an impact attenuator. His vehicle straddled the concrete barrier and continued to travel before one of the empty twin trailers overturned in the road.
