Legislative Report addresses traffic issues.

March 5, 2008 - According to local representative Bill Hembree, during the current Legislative Session, the Georgia House of Representatives is addressing traffic issues for both urban and rural parts of the state. Recently, the House adopted Bill 1019 which would authorize the Georgia Infrastructure Bank. It would provide access to low interest loans to local communities for transportation projects. With the numerous road projects underway in Douglasville, Lithia Springs, Villa Rica and other surrounding towns, our local communities could certainly benefit from this legislation.
