A woman from Macon was injured in a three-car accident Friday, December 5, on Riverside Drive, according to the Macon news website.  Macon police reported that the driver was negotiating a left turn from Riverside Drive into the parking lot of a BP station near Pierce Avenue when she drove into oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision between her black Ford and a black Pontiac.  After the initial crash, the Pontiac slammed into a silver Ford F-150 that was waiting to leave the BP.  The driver of the Pontiac was transported to The Medical Center of Central Georgia with non-life-threatening injuries, say police.  According to the report, at least two of the three cars appeared to be totaled due to the accident, and Smith received a citation for failing to yield to the right of way.
