According to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department, an Athens man hit two people with his vehicle to get a parking spot. A father and a minor son were standing in a parking spot when the vehicle hit them. When the vehicle hit the father and son it caused them both to land on the hood of the vehicle. The Athens resident was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
