Thomas Hollrith, Jr. was killed shortly before sunset Thursday evening (July 24) when a pickup truck slammed into his bicycle on an Interstate 20 access road in Texas. According to reports, Hollrith was riding his bicycle on the access to I-20 between Ranch House Road and Mikus Road when the driver of the 2007 Chevrolet pickup was blinded by the sun and crashed his vehicle into the bike. Though the cyclist was wearing a helmet and riding in the middle of the road (rather than along the shoulder), he was wearing dark clothing, which may have contributed to his death.

I was involved in a bike accident, should I contact a lawyer?
I was riding my bike and I was hit by a car in Georgia. I suffered a broken leg. What kind of claim does an injured biker have for this type of Georgia bicycle accident?
