Minor Child Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Savannah, Georgia | Georgia Accident Attorney

In the early morning on September 2, 2009, a minor child was involved in a pedestrian auto accident in Savannah, Georgia. The accident occurred at the intersection of De Lesseps Avenue and Truman Parkway. According to the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department, the minor child was fifteen years old. The child was transported to Memorial University Medical Center with injuries sustained from the accident.

The Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department is still investigating this accident, in which they believe the minor child was walking on De Lesseps Avenue when the vehicle was turning onto the northbound Truman Parkway on-ramp when the child was hit. The driver of the vehicle was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian (40-6-91).
