According to a local news report, a seven-year old was transported to a local hospital after being involved in a hit and run car accident. The local police officials are searching for the hit and run vehicle involved, dark-colored, 1997 Lexus LX 450, licence plate number BVQ3081. The accident happened at Jonesboro Road near the I-75 northbound ramp. The minor child was in the backseat of a vehicle when it was hit by the Lexus.

The local police officials are still investigating said hit and run accident.
