According to the Atlanta Police Department, an 8 year old boy is in critical condition after a driver ran a red light and hit the child in a crosswalk, then dragged him down the roadway approximately 100 to 150 feet. The accident happened at the intersection of the Stone Hogan Connector and Camp Creek Parkway, near Interstate 285.
The driver of the vehicle, Cynthia Parham, 47 years of age, was charged with a felony hit and run as well as other traffic charges. She was transported to the Fulton County Jail.
