Shortly before another accident involving a Mobile officer that occurred after 7:00 p.m. and killed one person, an accident involving a power pole in Mobile sent at least one to the hospital, according to the WKRG News website. The crash occurred around 6:58 p.m. when a Mobile Police squad car slammed into a power pole near the intersection of Cody Road and Ziegler Road.
