Monroe County Resident Involved in Fatal Auto Accident | Georgia Accident Lawyer

On Thursday, November 12, 2009, a fatal accident occurred on Interstate 75 in Monroe County, Georgia. According to the police officers on the scene, Christine Chatfield, fifty nine years of age, was traveling northbound on Interstate 75 in a 1995 Buick LaSabre. Ms. Chatfield’s vehicle was stopped in the left lane of Interstate 75 when she was rear-ended by a pickup truck. Kevin Keenom, resident of Warner Robins, Georgia was driving the pickup truck.

Christine Chatfield was transported to The Medical Center of Central Georgia from injuries sustained in the accident where she was pronounced dead. According to the news release from the police department on the scene, Mr. Keenom was not injured as a result of the accident.

This fatal auto accident is still under investigation and it is still unknown why Ms. Chatfield’s vehicle was stopped. No charges have been made.
