Morgan Freeman Suffers a Broken Shoulder and Broken Arm after Serious Car Accident

After a car accident that occurred around 11:30 last night near his home in Mississippi, award-winning actor Morgan Freeman is in serious condition at Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee. According to reports, the actor was driving his friend’s 1997 Nissan Maxima on Mississippi Highway 32 when the vehicle left the highway and flipped multiple times. Freeman was then airlifted to the Memphis hospital after responders used the jaws of life to remove him from the vehicle. Both he and his friend were wearing seat belts, and no indication of alcohol or drugs has been related to the crash. Though Freeman is sitting up and talking, the 71-year-old is in "serious condition" and allegedly has a broken shoulder and broken arm as a result of the accident.
