A man and woman were arrested on Tuesday on charges of second degree vehicular homicide, a hit-and-run, and tampering with evidence.

Two cars hit a man while he was riding a motorcycle on Interstate 75. The motorcyclist died at the scene.

After the hit-and-run, the suspects in the silver Porsche tried to cover up the homicide by repairing the car, painting it black, and changing the body shop's paperwork to say that the work was done before the accident.

The police were looking for the car for 10 days until a person reported seeing a damaged Porsche in a body shop in Alabama. The car was confirmed as the one from the accident when the car parts from the scene matched the missing parts of the damaged Porsche. Both of the accused are being held in prison without bond.
