Multi-Vehicle Accident near the Georgia-Florida Border

The recent car crash of a grandmother and her four grandchildren near the Georgia-Florida border, is another reminder of the importance of maintaining good uninsured motorist coverage. Recent reports suggest that Pedro Juan Ocacia Alcazar, was charged with six counts vehicular homicide in connection with the accident. Additional charges ranged from unsafe driving to driving on a suspended license. Given that Mr. Alcazar did not appear to be driving on a valid drivers license, it is likely that the insurance on the vehicle he was driving would not pay in a claim against him for negligence.
