At least 13 vehicles were involved in a serious car accident on I-20 West on Thursday during rush hour, according to the WSB-TV website.  The article reports that traffic was backed up throughout the evening on Interstate 20 Westbound between DeKalb County's Panola Rd. and Wesley Chapel, and at least nine people required transportation to local hospitals for treatment or evaluation of minor to moderate injuries.  According to Mekka Parish, police spokeswoman for DeKalb County, a driver appeared to slow down in reaction to the rain, causing the multi-vehicle car accident in the Atlanta area.
