Murphy Appointed to Serve on Board of Directors at St. Rose Academy In Douglasville

As a parent and local Catholic Attorney living near Atlanta, Georgia, Jim Murphy is concerned about the values and education of children in his community.  St. Rose Academy is a non-profit school founded on Roman Catholic tradition.  The school offers an alternative to public school for kindergarden through 8th grade.  In addition to standard academic subjects, St. Rose Academy teaches subjects on religion and the Catholic faith as a way of life.
 
St. Rose Academy is a private school in Douglasville, Georgia, and does not receive any financial support from the local church.  The only source of money for the school is tuition and private fund raising.  Individuals running the school work very hard, not only in educating and teaching good values to our children, but also in raising money so the school can survive. 
 
According to Murphy, the school welcomes volunteer support as well financial contributions.  He is proud to be part of the effort to support St. Rose Academy.  "My children go to this school and are thriving academically and spiritually, but most importantly they are learning good values which will stay with them for the rest of their lives."
