A Rome, Georgia, car accident on Saturday, November 1, left one man injured after his car flipped and landed upside-down on the side of Walker Mountain Road, according to Hayden Jennings of the Rome Newswire website. According to Jennings, the vehicle apparently ran off the road between Highway 27 and the Walker Mountain Landfill before it overturned. The driver appeared to have sustained a cut on his head, and emergency crews immobilized him and took him to Floyd Medical Center. A Georgia Power pole was slightly damaged after the crash.
