
A police officer from Oxford, Alabama, was reportedly in stable condition at Regional Medical Center as of Friday, January 9, following a Thursday evening car crash, according to Graham Milldrum of The Anniston Star on the MSNBC website. Milldrum reports that the officer's vehicle crashed into a dentist's office after he passed out while on patrol near the Hale and Snow streets' southern intersection. According to police Chief Bill Partridge, the officer passed out because of a medical condition shortly before 8:30 p.m. In the accident, his patrol car struck a power pole and slammed into the dental office of Drs. Donald D. King and Marvin E. Poland.
