According to the Clayton County Police Department, a man was killed while trying to cross Mt. Zion Road in Clayton County, Georgia on Thursday. The gentleman was crossing the street when he was struck by a Dodge Caravan, traveling westbound on Mt. Zion Road. The Caravan was traveling next to a BMW when the BMW changed lanes and the Caravan swerved to avoid being hit by the BMW and struck the pedestrian. He passed away at the scene of the accident from injuries sustained in the accident.

The Clayton County Police Department is investigating this fatal pedestrian accident and charges are pending.
