Yesterday afternoon on December 7, 2009, a eighty-five year old man was hit by a car at Lawrenceville Highway and Fellowship Road in Dekalb County. According to the Dekalb County Police, the driver of the vehicle, a eighty-three year old woman, was turning right when she hit him in the crosswalk. The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition from the injuries sustained in the accident.
The Dekalb County Police are still investigating the said accident and charges are pending.
