Police Officer Injured in I-75 Crash While Responding to Hit-and-Run Accident

Stephen Parker, a 41-year-old police officer from Richmond, Kentucky, sustained injuries in a serious car accident on I-75 while responding to a call reporting a hit-and-run accident near mile marker 88. According to www.wtvq.com, Parker was driving by the scene of the accident when a fire truck merged into his lane, causing his vehicle to crash into the median. The officer sustained back and shoulder injuries in the I-75 crash.
